Rubber Band
Written by: Tony Castricone

You left your rubber band by my bed
Pretty little strands of gold
all tangled up like thread
And now I can’t believe all the tears that I’ve shed
Over your rubber band by my bed

You left your scent on my pillow
Your head left a dent
A perfect little silhouette
And now I don’t know how I’m ever gonna let go
When I’ve got your scent on my pillow

Now I know all about all the fish in the sea
But I was so content ’til you came swimming up to me
Don’t you never never know what you’ve got ’til its gone?
But you’re gone
Yeah, you’re gone

And now every time I lay down, it’s a moment I dread
’cause I had you by my side, but now I’m missing you instead
And all I have left is your ghost in my head
And your rubber band, next to my bed
